Richard Metzler
Chief Executive Offer and President

As a senior leader with over twenty five years of general management and growth leadership, Richard Metzler has extensive experience and accomplishments in the parcel and freight transportation, third party logistics and e-Commerce disciplines. He also has extensive M&A experience on a global basis.

Mr. Metzler has worked extensively with private equity, debt financing, venture capital, and as a senior leader in portfolio companies and advising on individual investments and divestitures.

He has held growth leadership roles such as VP/GM of FedEx Logistics, Chief Executive Officer of APL Logistics, EVP at DHL with three business units totaling nearly $500 million in revenue, Chief Commercial Officer at Greatwide Logistics, and most recently CMO of uShip, an online transportation marketplace. In operating and commercial leadership roles Mr. Metzler has focused on process-oriented growth that has resulted in substantial top and bottom line results.

Mr. Metzler currently serves on the board of directors of Flash Global Logistics, iGPS, XGS and Installs/NAL. He is a past President and Chairman of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA). He currently resides in Austin, TX.

Mike Boyzuick
Chief Operating Officer

Mike Boyzuick is the Chief Operating Officer for LSO West. Mr. Boyzuick has nearly 25 years of leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry.  He has spent nearly half of his career in the small package arena with FedEx Ground in operational and sales roles where he was awarded the prestigious “5 Star” award. His career transitioned to the Cash Services industry where he spent nearly 10 years in executive leadership roles with Brinks Incorporated and Garda World.  

Recognized as a top executive in the industry, Boyzuick received the “Leader of the Year” award.  Most recently he served as COO of All My Sons moving and storage.  Mike joined LSO in 2016 and is taking the lead for many strategic initiatives that focus on providing world-class service and quality, organizational strength and facilitation for overall growth for the company.  After attending college at the University of Georgia and LeMoyne college, Mike played three years of professional baseball in the LA Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers organizations.  Mike lives in Argyle, TX with his wife Susan and three children Brandon, Tanner and Katie.

George Stephens
Chief Financial Officer

George Stephens joined LSO in August 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Stephens’ responsibilities include directing all financial matters for the company, including monthly financial reporting, annual budget preparation, and compliance reporting as well as strategic financial direction.

He is the primary interface with the company’s lenders, insurance brokers, legal and accounting professionals. Mr. Stephens has 17 years of experience in the transportation industry. Prior to joining LSO, he was the corporate controller of a $300 million publicly-traded same-day transportation company, where his responsibilities included SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

He was also the CFO of a one-hour delivery company based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Stephens began his career with BDO Seidman LLP, where he spent 10 years and was a partner in the firm’s audit practice. He also spent 2 years with Ernst & Young, LLP in that firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group. George earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas.

Neal Cung
Chief Technology Officer / Information Officer

Neal Cung joined the LSO team in May 2016 bringing more than 30 years of executive and applied experience to the role. Mr. Cung oversees LSO’s technology with expertise in delivering customer solutions, strategic planning, project and operations management, technology and infrastructure development, compliance and accountability, and customer focus.

When asked why two titles, Cung states, “As the CTO, my role is to bring technology to empower external and internal customers to achieve their goals. As the CIO, my role is to improve internal processes, manage the PMO and control processes.”

Prior to his role at LSO, Cung served as the CTO for MyUS.com in Sarasota, FL servicing over 300,000 customers across the globe with package consolidation services. Neal's extensive professional portfolio also includes positions as managing director of NLN Consulting, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, Chief Information Officer with Prommis Solutions, LLC; Vice President, Information Technology at SmartMail, LLC; Vice President of Information Technology services at American Intercontinental University; and President of InfiNet Technologies, Inc. Neal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.

Penny McLeskey
VP of Corporate Services

Penny McLeskey is the Vice President of LSO’s Corporate Services Division which oversees Recruiting, Human Resources and Employee programs, Safety and Compliance for the company. Prior to her fourteen years with LSO, she was a partner for ten years in a boutique firm that provided C level executive search and management consulting for clients on a national basis in the public and private sectors.

Ms. McLeskey previously held the Senior Vice President of Operations position at a large lender, overseeing a revenue division of $35M. Penny is an active community volunteer and a frequent public speaker on leadership development and succession planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s from the University of Northern Colorado.

Terry Douglas
President, LSO Final Mile Division

Terry Douglas brings 20 years of private sector experience and a strong reputation for driving operational efficiencies and profitability in a variety of industries. He moved successfully through operational leadership roles and most recently held the position of Executive Vice President of Mclean Power Systems.

Douglas has worked with private equity firms and led organizations through growth opportunities, showing significant improvements in both top and bottom-line results.
